Weald responded to being docked 12 points by the League in brilliant style by easily beating Kilndown and Lamberhurst for the second time this season. Most importantly back was Stuart Seal who saw Weald home with a fine Not Out. Read the match report here
It has been decided by the LMC that Weald CC played an ineligible player on two occasions in breach of League Playing Conditions. As a result Weald have had 12 points deducted and Mr S. Seal has been suspended from playing within the KCVL for 2 weeks. (5th and 12th July, 2008).

This is the first Fundraising event that Weald Cricket Club have had for a while and it turned out to be a great success, with Weald raising a fantastic £1300 following some excellent support from club members.
After an excellent effort from members of the Cricket Club, a new layer has been applied to the drive that leads from the main road to the Weald Cricket Club Ground. This will hopefully improve the drive to the ground and should reduce mud build up.
