Weald moved 26 points clear of the relegation zone of Division 1 following a total destruction of St Lawrence's batting order. Weald bowled out the home side for just 35 runs in less than 11 overs. Weald now move up to 6th place.
Weald are back on track with another win, this week against Sissinghurst away. An exciting game where Weald picked up a much needed 16 points now lifts them a little further from the relegation zone.
Weald's first game of the season got off to a good start, with the batsmen posting a respectable 214 all out after batting first. A not so special display with the ball resulted in Bidborough reaching the target without a major challenge. In the end Weald lost by 8 wickets.
Weald have a tough start to the 2010 league season, facing League 1 Champions Bidborough at Bidborough. Despite losing some key players this year, Weald are looking to make a good start with a win.
